Jessie Richard and James New created their first children’s fashion line in London’s East Dulwich.
Jessie trained at the University of Art in Berlin, and then she joined Vivienne Westwood’s creative team and became a creative head pattern cutter. And James was a menswear fashion designer for Vivienne Westwood. After they worked together for five years, they felt in love, actually it was love at first sight. A while later their son Billy was born. As they always wanted to start their own label and the opportunity was there. They decided to launch the collection “Under Construction”. All the garments are high quality modern kids wear which inspired by the British with innovative cutting principles to create new silhouettes. Everything are very comfortable, practical, fashionable and FUN. The collection is for baby girls and boys from 3 months to 3 years old.
