With the weather turning colder and the days shorter, people’s attention turns towards the Winter Holiday Season. The excitement and spirit of the holiday season is starting to build and retail stores are leading the way by decking their halls for the holidays. Window displays around the world are going up and they are a must see.
Harrods, the high end English department store, has always put on a display second to none. This year is no exception. Harrods has teamed up with Swarovski to design a dress, using more than 150,000 crystals, which is inspired by the twenties and designed by Ralph and Russo. The £230,000 dress is a must see and people are flocking from all over the nation to get a glimpse of this spectacular masterpiece. The “Crystal Forest” is hand stitched by 25 couturiers taking numerous hours to delicately bring together this one of kind piece of art. This is, without question, the centerpiece of the Swarovski window.
The “Crystal Forest" is what fairy tales are made of and a perfect way to show dazzle for the holiday season. This is a must see in London this season.
