YOUR OPTIONS
1.Color
2.Fabric
3.Cut
4.Designer
An experienced consultant will tell you
to always choose the cut first. However, with today’s
trend hungry brides, that
might not be the best case scenario. When you start planning you
wedding
party, go online and research your options.
One of the above will catch your
attention. Once you’ve got a starting point, go in to
local wedding boutiques alone, or with 1
trusted friend. Take your time and remember your 4
points. Visit the swatch books, if you
see something you like, ask for help to see a sample.
DID YOU KNOW?
•Most
wedding boutiques only carry one style sample, in one color and one size only.
•Each
designer has different name for color, cut and fabric, and may not offer the
color you
want in the fabric type, and so on.
BE PREPARED TO…
•Try
on the wrong size sample dress
•Choose
your color by seeing a 1inx1in swatch
WHAT DOES A SMART BRIDE DO?
•Be
clear but flexible.
–Perhaps
allow your bridal party to choose their own dress cut, but you choose the
color, fabric and designer.
•Talk
to a sales consultant.
–If
you’re not getting the assistance you need, go elsewhere it will be worth the
trip.
