The tech wires are going crazy earlier this week. Le Web conference which was recently held in Paris had Karl Lagerfeld as their guest of honor. Reported by Techcrunch.
Karl Lagerfeld decided to make an, unusual, announcement at the tech conference one that has people buzzing! He announced a new line called “Karl” that Net-A-Porter is launching early next year. With the site launching on January 25 people are already excited by his venture. Karl will be the first designer brand to sell exclusively online.
The collection is impressive with over 100 pieces with price points that will attract a wide audience. Prices will start around the $95 USD mark and work upwards to $450 USD. Designer meets affordability! At this price point this collection is sure to attract a large market that previously could not afford such designers. Combining the potential new market and his current devote followers the new line is anticipated to be highly successful. With this new line, Karl Lagerfeld has a new logo to go with it and a fresh new marketing campaign which includes social media, pop-up stores and a revamped website to name a few.
